By harnessing the latest AI technology and proprietary databases, we are able to take messy enterprise data and from it determine how products are made, the materials that go into them and the supply chain behind them. We enable procurement and cost engineering teams to fully model their products, regardless of design maturity, understand the impact of their design selections, compare regional cost impacts and strengthen supplier negotiation in an automated and scaled fashion.

Role description

As an Account Executive, you will be a key part of Muir’s business development and sales team. You will lead the identification, outreach and relationship building with enterprise clients. Your responsibilities will include outbound efforts to generate sales, networking with leads at conferences, carrying customers through the business pipeline, and closely working with Muir’s CEO to close leads. This will require the ability to both actively sell and develop new strategies and processes to accelerate Muir’s growth. Additionally, given the role's direct interaction with customers, you will be responsible for identifying new customer opportunities and challenges to incorporate into Muir’s products.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the business development team to identify buying behavior and core characteristics of ideal Muir customers.
  • Leading and owning the outbound sales motion of Muir’s services, proactively reaching out to prospects via phone, email and social selling channels.
  • Owning the quality and quantity of generated leads for the sales team.
  • Developing marketing strategies, building of content and tracking success of advertisement campaigns.
  • Identification of key features or services to meet customer demand.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in a B2B SaaS development role at a growth stage company.
  • Demonstrated capability to sell operations or supply chain products into enterprises.
  • Experience leading outbound business development efforts for deals at or above six figures.
  • Able to appreciate complex data science and AI systems, and communicate systems to customers.
  • Flexibility and a level of comfort with early-stage ambiguity.
  • Bias for action and ability to iterate.
  • Based in, or willing to relocate to, the Seattle area.
